Sorry for being a little bit tardy but here are some photos from the following three days. I have to tell you that a bunch of us were pretty tired last night! What a great day as the 463 made it's inaugural run double-heading with 487! WOW...what a treat!

I should have also mentioned that Work Session "A" started on Tuesday May 21 with crews working in both Antonito and Chama.

Thanks Tim. Monday was a pretty incredible experience.

I'm back at work today and dragging my butt after the drive home yesterday. Will post some pics as soon as I get a chance to edit a few.

Jason, I don't know how you did it. Tuesday I was a complete veg. Good for nothing except recoup and yet you had a long drive ahead of you.

I'm wondering that, too. We left the night shoot around 10:30, got to bed around 11 and got up at 0300 to head for Houston. Really not smart.

But, I'm VERY grateful that I was able to be there. It was WELL WORTH all the lost sleep.

There were so many moments that made the trip worth the effort:

-Morning coffee on the balcony at The Hotel
-Seeing 463 under steam
-Finally meeting Carlos Llamas
-463 double heading with 487
-Switching locomotives at Big Horn
-Snow at Osier
-Night photo shoot with Michael Ripley
-Dinner at Fosters
-Lunch at Sonny's with Rich Murray
-Lunch at Osier
-Being able to bring 3 good friends from Houston with me
-Being able to help out by doing some network stuff for the Friends in the Bunkhouse
-And finally, being part of the 463 DVD film crew. What an honor that was!

What a great trip.
