Unread postby Jerry Day » Wed Jul 09, 2014 2:16 pm

Railfan & Railroad Magazine will publish a long article I am writing on the 315 Jay Wimer charter and the 315-463 doubleheader. The attached photo might be the cover.

RailFan & Railroad editors just told me it would be in the fall...September I guess. Was hoping they would do it sooner, but they plan these magazines months ahead.

Only thing that kept the week from being perfect was they did not let me run her the way the CRRRM did with 346 years ago. And I didn't even wreck her.

Thanks Jason, was not a very long track to run an engine on, but at least I can I ran it a few times without derailing or wrecking it. Been very lucky to have cab rides in 463 and 481 (all day). Dream is to get a cab ride in my favorite locomotive...K28.
