A taste of winter

Unread postby Joe Kanocz » Sat Oct 13, 2012 5:34 pm

Early storm in the high country yesterday and last night. I kinda think the most photogenic time for the C&T is during winter conditions.

Very foggy and cold at Cumbres. 488 emerges out of it's own steam cloud.

Kinda looks like the San Juan leaving during a winter storm, huh?

488 was working hard. Full train and wet rails.

Thanks Joe.

Looks a bit chilly up there.

Yes, cold to cool today. Already 32 degrees outside at 8:45pm. A cold night.

I do think winter type conditions are my favorite for video and photos. About the only thing that's difficult is working the camera buttons when it's really cold.
