Bill and Chase Kepner, who have been working hard on the Antonito Car Shelter project, have shared some great photos as of the end of Session C (and beyond). The frame and roof structure are now in place - and the Session D team will start their work activities this morning (Monday) to be covered in our Session D photos!

Here's an excerpt from Bill's e-mail:

"Attached are two photos showing the flag [on top of the structure]; it isn't all that big because Ron didn't mind donating the little one he had....The second photo was from this morning [Sunday] as we left town. Yes, it was supposed to be a three-day work session, but we had more or less a full crew on Saturday, and all of us were beat."

Great progress - and kudos to all who worked on this project in Sessions A, B, C - and now D and beyond -- when completed, the Car Shelter will protect up to 18 cars from harsh winter weather conditions, thus protecting the great restoration work done by the Friends!!!

AMAZING!!

I wished I'd had time to run back over the hill to see it last week.
