More Day Five - Session C

Unread postby Ted Smith » Sat Jun 23, 2012 3:08 pm

Here are a few more photos of the last day of Session C - volunteers were working until the "last bell!" Lots of work accomplished; more to come in Session D, which begins on Monday morning at 8 a.m. with the safety briefing. Registration for Session D is Sunday, beginning at noon, at the Chama Depot to facilitate the badging process.

Friends members really do make a difference when it comes to keeping our railroad heritage from turning to rust and dust. It is lots of hard work, but the results speak for themselves as you can watch a junk car being made usable again.

To me one of the things that makes the Friends special is all the great contributions of all of our female members who labor side by side the guys in many cases, while others are doing other important jobs that need to be done. There is something to do for almost everyone regardless of your skill level.
