Work Session B - Fourth Day
Posted: Thu May 31, 2012 6:57 pmThe Friends' volunteers in Sessions A and B are feeling good about their progress! The exterior of Cook Car 053 will be completely sided, with some very impressive woodworking done by members of the team. The steel truss team volunteers' work in pairing the trusses for installation by the Session C team, led by Ted Norcross and the Square Nail Gang, is going well also. The stock car restoration team has begun its work, as well.

- Exterior siding on Cook Car 053 is now completed
- Marshall Smith continues welding braces on the trusses
- Stock car crew, including Dan Pyzel, Kevin Corwin and Mike Horner, move part of the bolster to the north side of the car until ready for installation
