Re; Oops.
A commentary on our times. When you see a picture like that and you wonder if reworking the steel would be more efficient than trying to locate fresh wood.

With steel, you simply weld the holes closed and drill new ones. Hard to put wood back....

Pug em and redrill. Since original wood is on the top they should be just as strong. Not an easy job to uninstall and reinstall. Great job on rebuilding the car.

Looks like they need a binocular bolt drill bit. They say the nut is hard starting.... :-) Been there, done that too many times to remember.
