Locomotive 463 Update

As we head into the Thanksgiving weekend, here is a short update on the Locomotive 463 project. The Antonito crews started work on the 463 back on Monday November 5th. As Marvin Casias reports; “Things went fairly well on the 463 this week. The left-side driving box grease cellars and screens have been installed. 70% of the air and steam plumbing in the cab is now finished. The air tank on the right side was installed. The #1 and #2 left side spring hanger pins were set correctly and the #1 and #2 left side driving box wear plates were installed. Overall things are coming together.”
