I have noticed that this set of photos contains a number of shot done at Cumbres Pass on the Car Inspectors House so will post them over on the Cumbres threads.
Here are the processed shots for day 2. I will be splitting up the day into at least 2 threads since I have a large number of pictures.

This strap assembly is being milled down a bit

Prep work continues on the wheel press

In this thread will be photos related to the rebuilding of MW02.

The MW02 is inside the CRF and work on it continues

Well, well guess I will have to start calling the MW02 Matilda

Looking at the left rear of the MW02 and the seam joining the metal

Removing the gas tank from the MW02

Inspecting the rear deck where the gas tank goes

The wooden decking has been removed from the back of MW02

The MW02 has been completely stripped to the frame

The rest of this thread will focus on the vintage passenger car truck construction.

Boards are at the table saw ready to cut for a project

Cutting the boards to size

Those boards are cut to size and ready to use

Those cut boards are getting a coat of white paint

This is the assembly that will be dropped into the middle of the vintage passenger car truck

Here is the top side showing the bolster plate and the hole for the king pin to seat in

Using the hand press to move the boards far enough apart to get the assemble into the space

Work continues to stabilize the opening so the final assembly can be dropped in
