More work on tearing down the high sided gon in the swamp

It looks like a mess now, but when done it will be a new car

Here we see the high sided gon being ripped apart next to the flat car which is coming back together

Its hard work scraping off all the old paint

More prep work to get the Friends cars repainted and looking nice

With the end of an already completed car covered, the paint crew starts spraying box car red on the prepped car

We can really see the paint coming out of that spray nozzle

The brush crew continues to work along the line just outside of Chama

Up at Cumbres:

Up at Cumbres, the framing of the car inspectors house is coming right along

The siding is going up at Cumbres

The Drop Bottom Gon is ready to move into the CRF:

Quick correction on the Cumbres work, the boards going in are sheathing which will be covered with roofing felt and then the actual siding. BTW we completed the siding Wednesday afternoon and it will be primed on Thursday and final painted on Friday.
