Session Check In

This will be my fourth time volunteering for Friends - you'd think I'd remember the answer to these questions.
I recall that Check In is typically the Sunday before (for Session C, June 17), what are the times for checking in?
And, is Check-In the first time we learn of job assignment, or is an email issued to volunteers prior to the session?

Registration is in the Chama yard the Sunday afternoon before the work session starts Monday, and also first thing the Monday morning. I don't know how long on Monday morning. In recent years, the email listing volunteers' crew assignments goes out the week before the work season. I don't know whether there's any registration activity in Antonito but I suspect not.
