Car 3585: D&RGRR/D&RGWRR 3000 series 30ft 25 ton box car
Build 1903, by the American Car and Foundry Company for $708.50
Delivered around February, 1904 to Denver and Rio Grande Railroad with board roof, KD brakes, 3' 7" flat top arch bar trucks, and etc..
U. S. Safety Appliances installed from 1912-1914- Cost $24.22
Rebuild July, 1926 by the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad at Alamosa Shops with sheet metal Murphy roofs, Camel Iron-bound doors, and etc...
Purchased by Gorge Cook at unknown date
Not recorded in Spencer Wilson and Vernon Glover's, The Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad-The Historic Preservation Study rolling stock listings of 1976 and 1977
