7/31/17 Monday Emuse addendum - the holding tank is up
Posted: Mon Jul 31, 2017 5:45 pmJust before 5pm local time with storms all around us, the crane showed up and the sand holding tank is now in place atop the frame sand tower. The main air tank still needs to be placed beside the sand house and that should be done Tuesday once the paint is dry. Also all piping will be done over the next few days. Pictures to follow soon and the video will have to wait until I get home and will be posted to this thread. Roger was also there with the drone in the air so look for his postings.
- The crane has arrived on site and it deploying its out riggers
- The sand holding tank which will be raised to the top of the tower, the bottom of the tank is to the right
- The lift is underway
- The move to the tower
- The crew members on the tower are guiding the tank toward its final resting place
- The tank is being lowered into place guided by the crew on the tower
- After some manual encouragement the tank is seated into its resting place
- The crew on the tower is starting to tighten the bands that will stabilize the tank
- The crew is working on the bank in the back
- The crane hook is free and the tank is standing on its own
