Lets see how much I remember as to each of the shots above. I am working bottom to top here starting at the first post above my Emuse posts.
1. Up at Cumbres they were removing the chimney from the line inspectors shack and this is one of the workers cleaning up the removed bricks.
2. This shows Cinder Bear and its handler, Becky Falk.
3. Inside of the nut and bolt car. The Friends have this string of box cars down by the round house as storage for just about everything that they will need as well as the kitchen car and its storage car.
4. The grounds crew doing their great job of keeping the area around the station looking good.
5. Dr. McMullen using this tool to cut groves into the putty that was applied to the bunk car some time ago to seal it. Whomever did this work just plastered it right across the natural groves between boards.
6. Installing the new wiring into the sand house.
7. More work by the grounds crew. They were, in this shot, preparing the entry sign for a beautification.
8. A member of the paint crew applying the box car red to the rider gon that had work done on it. This could have been the redo of the paint job since the first time they did it, it rained hard later in the afternoon basically ruining the entire job.
9. The long reefer that the grounds crew uses for storage needed a touch up and it got done.
10. More work on the sand house to get it ready to be a functioning facility again. In this shot the crew is installing the piping from the mixing tank in the building up to the separator which will go at the top of the tower.
