I started off session E working in the kitchen car before moving over to chronicler. These are some which I took during the week including the little seen kitchen crew.
In the background is Jeanne with Nancy and Maggie with their backs to the camera.

Rochelle is restocking the snack tray as Nancy and Maggie work on other things.

Kitchen boss Mary Jane is checking over the set up for the upcoming lunch.

Rochelle and Nancy are getting everything ready for the hungry crews to have their lunch.

While the kitchen crew worked inside these 3 intrepid gentleman were on the roof fixing the leaks.

One of the projects for E and continued into F was the block and tie car for the derrick.

Another project was the creation of a new kitchen storage car since the current one was showing its age. This is project boss Don Beyer standing in the back.

Lettering the cars is a very important aspect of the final appearance and here that crew is working on the Union Tank cars up by the Gramps Oil rack. I do believe that is ex F4 jock Billy doing the work here.

The wheel and tie car was another project and here we see Greg tightening a bolt.

Sharon,
I always enjoy seeing all the great work the Friends do - the captions really help understand what is going on. Thanks for sharing some of your pictures.
John

It is GREAT seeing all of those tank cars painted and lettered and ready to roll. Right now there are 7 tank cars finished, and Chris Trunk says that #8 with the Gramps logo is finished as of Friday. Hopefully the railroad will spot all EIGHT tank cars over at the Gramps oil rack soon. I'll bet that scene will be a first since the early 1960's. WOOHOO!

Thanks Chris, if you tell me which ones you would like I can send you the actual files. Further I have more to post as I process the files from the trip.
