John Weiss has done some amazing work with creating patterns, having castings poured and then machining them. I did ask John if he could create a pattern for the wheels needed for the trucks being built. He said it's a bit too big for him.
Notice the part number and D&RGW detail.
Part towards the right is an original. This was used as a model
Sharon is at her mad scientist table inputting pics for chronicling
This was a gondola yesterday. All stripped of wood and looks like about ready for rebuild starting tomorrow
Flat car 6529 is getting some major work
Gramps tank needs a bit more work and should be ready next year
Lunch is being prepared
