My bride and I went to Rodeo for a few days so I could shoot some birds & wildlife. IMHO and I don't know why but the color of the birds this year is more intense, I notice this before I ever tried to take a picture.

Beautiful pictures Roger? The colors do look really intense. I particularly like the red and green (background) contrast in the first picture. Having grown up back East, the Cardinal is one bird I miss here in California.

I had heard, that the colors are more intense in the beginning of the year as it is their matting season.
