C&TSRR = 487 = Nice Whistle.

Locomotive 487 at the 1st crossing. Train sounds and music. I am trying to decide if all the extra time to do this is worth it. Extra time to record the sound and then a lot of extra time editing the video. This process will cut back on the number of locations I can do in a day.

I understand the time problem, but how can you deny that whistle echo up the valley, now that is Colorado railroading. Another nice spot is when it is coming out of the narrows heading toward Lobato. Nice work Mr. Roger.

Mr. Roger it is, but your right, I didn't make the connection till you mentioned it ( I should have, my kids watched him when they were much, much younger ). He is still Mr. Roger to me.

I'm personally more interested in the shots you can get than the sound. I presume anything coming from a drone shot would have to have sound added. If you are shooting by yourself, I wouldn't worry about the sound but if you have a helper or fellow cameraman then you might be able to take the sound from those shots.

Hi Pete, it is just me and I am trying to learn to fly the drone and get some ground video and a view still shots at the same time. I think I need to call back some of my retired brain cells to help out.
