Thanks Roger for a great video. We had a great time in that class. Bother Gene was in Firemen's window around the first curve. Also a doe at about 30 seconds in then a nice sized buck a few seconds later run from the train. This was our first trip to Cumbres on Day 2 of the school. We had to cut out the brakes on one of the gons just after heading down Cumbres. Can anybody tell which one? This is when we learned why they paint the wheels with white paint. Look at about 2:54 into the video and see if you can see which wheel was not turning.

Looks like your fireman trainees were really working - popping off in all the shots and it appeared that the engineer was running a bit faster than usual (or maybe he was just using up available pressure).
