I tried some up close shots of Bertha the Bald Eagle. It is a feel good thing to have her back for another winter.

I went out yesterday and Bert has joined Bertha so now I can stop worrying about them.

Great shots of a beautiful bird! Glad they have now both shown up. Is there a way you can identify these two from the other eagles you have photographed, or do they just go back to the same tree each year so you know it's them? Just curious.

Their size and their patterns and the way they act when I am around.
