C&TSRR = Aerial = Double = Scouting Drone Locations.

I am still spending time on Highway 17 checking out different locations for chasing the train with the drone.

Great as always and the drone gives you access to places that you can't walk into due to trespassing issues or inaccessible.

Where is that place/location where you come out of the tunnel, and then there is a drop of viewing the canyon? I remember that one, too, as a "nail bitter." Might be a good location for the drone?

I think you are talking about Rock Tunnel.

I was on that train and we saw your drone. We were wondering why you hadn't posted may pictures lately, Now we know you were just preparing to shoot some fantastic videos.

My wife and I rode the eastbound on Sept. 2, 2014, and then proceeded to ride the D&S on Sept. 4, and the Rio Grande Scenic on
Sept. 6. Since then, I have told many friends that if you have time or money to only ride one, then the C&TS is the MUST RIDE.
We are looking at going back late next May, or early June as we have a graduation to go to in Houston and that is 1/2 way there
from Jacksonville, FL, so why not make SouthWest Airlines a little richer.

Since then, I have joined the "Friends" and if I was many years younger, I would be out there working on something, but at almost
77, $$ will have to do.

Drones are helpful. To inaccessible, or trespassing as hindrances, I would also add, Rattlesnakes. I asked someone in the Chama
station on the afternoon of Sept. 1 last year if I could look around the yard and she said yes, but trains are not the issue,
watch out for the rattlers. Didn't see any of them, and it was getting cool by then. We did see a herd of Elk or large deer as
we returned from Fosters to the Branding Iron on the evening of Sept. 2 after we returned from Antonito by the bus.

Later, on Sept. 7, we ate lunch at a nice restaurant in Antonito and so the only problem I have with another trip is how to
please the wife who much prefers Antonito to Chama, and me, who prefers the reverse------.
