Not-So-Rare Sighting

On Opening Day I spotted the not-so-rare Chamitas Rogercus Whackycuss (Latin for: "Chama Railfan").
I was careful not to get too close and spook him while he was foraging for photos along the well-established migratory path of the local "FerroEquine Coalsmokerus." Despite my desire to merely observe the Chamitas Wackycuss, he's known to be quite friendly, even inviting visitors to his lavish above-ground burrow.

Congratulations Jason on catching the rare photo op. Great shot, the wife and I was guite fortunate to stay in that above ground burrow, we had a great time. Thanks for sharing!

Great catch Jason and thanks for posting. I've completely enjoyed all of Rogers photography, now we know what to truly name him! Chamitas Rogercus!

I'm thinking that it's spelled Chamitas Rogercuss, subspecies Curmudgeonuss
