They are fun to watch. I often get several in winter cleaning up the seeds on the ground the other birds drop. I love the little chirping sound they make when they take off.

How far away from the subjects are you when shooting most of the time? I figure you are shooting with at least 200 mm.

Probably 90% of the time with wildlife I am using my Canon 500mm lens.
