Current plans are to phase out the Harrier by 2025.
The replacement F35B is supposed to be operational this summer.

Well on the bright side, Marines don't need fancy aircraft. We've been blowing stuff up and helping the enemy die for his country for 240 years. Most of that was without aircraft.

actually once you hit a certain age, you stop worrying about. Then it gets better. (by default)
