Antelope Crawl

My 1st photos of Antelope crawling under a fence. I have seen this before but never had a camera with me. I have NEVER seen a Antelope jump a fence. I have watched spooked Antelope run across a field and stop when they got to a fence and then one at a time crawl under the fence and then take off again.

I'll be!! I never would have thought a "prairie goat" would do that. Normally they can "pop"over a fence like that without batting an eye. Maybe it's been injured. Or just born plumb lazy.

I have seen this many times and I have never seen one jump a fence. Because they can't or don't jump fences many ranchers will put a smooth wire on the bottom strand of a fence.

For the record, I have seen them clear a fence.
Maybe because they were being chased by a 76 Blazer 4x4 ;-)

Maybe I will get lucky and see that some day.
