Absolutely agree. We have them down here, too. In fact, when I was a kid we had several as pets.

Grew up feeding Mallards and Canada Geese at the local park, here in Florida we have them, though they don't seem overly plentiful in some areas.
Must have been fun Jason having them as pets, only pet birds I've ever known was a friends parrot that tried to bite my fingers off all the time! Birds and cats don't go well together, and I've always had cats.
