I found this BIG guy laying down behind some sagebrush using my spotting scope, I checked the wind and the sun, then used my binoculars to plan a route for a possible photo. Folks in different parts of the country count points differently so I titled the post with all 3 ways of counting I know of.

Great shots Roger! I don't know how they count points, but I'd say 12 is right!

Different parts of the country count them differently.

Amazing shots Roger and that would be a 12 point buck here in Virginia.
