Agreed - magnificent bird! That's one I haven't seen in the wild. What's the small bird in the tree in the first two shots, interesting colors with the black, white and blue tail. Thanks again for posting all the wildlife shots, very interesting to see the variety.

I also have to agree Roger, beautiful pictures. By the way Larry, that is a Magpie keeping an eye on the big fella, they have absolutely no concept of danger, bless their little hearts.

Magnificent picture. I really enjoy your bird pics, (trains are fantastic too) and I learn about the birds from your pics and comments... Been living around trains since 1942... GW 51, 60, 75 & 90 in No. CO. Ron Lewis
