Burrowing Owls = Off Bucket List

My guess is most of you have never seen one of these so I am posting one so you all can see one.

8 days and 2350 miles later I no longer have Burrowing Owls in my bucket list. I found 6 different ones and have hundreds of photos to go thru to get a few poster shots. These characters are only about 7 inches tall and YES they are very difficult to spot.Yippee! Yahoo a successful hunt. Here is a sample.

Great shot Roger! I think I've only seen one in a zoo before, never in the wild - as tiny as they are you did real good with them! Look forward to any other shots you may share!

As soon as I get caught up on orders I have a bunch more to look at and then edit.

I had the good fortune to see the owls in Arches Nat. Park but only because a park ranger had already spotted them.
It is truly a rare thing to see.
