Details for the Trains Charter on Sunday - Participants were bussed to Antonito for the departure. As opposed to yesterday, Extra 483 had 483 and 484 on the head of the train, this recreated the last westbound freight in 1968. There were by my count 8 separate photo run-bys during the trip. 215 passed Extra 483 at Sublette and Extra 483 followed to Ossier. Following lunch Extra 483 proceeded to Cumbres performing several of the previously mentioned run-bys along the way. At Cumbres, 483 was cut off and the train proceeded to Chama behind 484. There were 70 - 80 participants in the trip. All that I met were quite happy with the results.
