Lets ride, Antonito to Osier behind 463

The Saturday after session E ended, I planned a ride on 215 from Antonito to Chama and, since 463 went over on 216 Friday, knew it would lead the train back on Saturday. Due to the number of pictures taken I am dividing this into 2 parts. The second, Osier to Chama will follow.

: 463 sits quietly in Antonito waiting departure time and a crew to run it.

: Parlor New Mexico, my ride for the day.

: Looking back toward Antonito over county road E5, where I had set up the previous Sunday.

: 463 rounds a curve in the high desert we traverse headed out of Antonito.

: Headed into Whiplash Curve.

: Reaching the upper level of the curve.

: Looking back on the lower 2 levels of Whiplash Curve.

: The forest service road which heads down to the valley of the Los Pinos and where I set up the previous weekend.

: Mt. San Antonio, an inactive volcano, which dominates most of the trip out of Antonito.
