Sad news here, Ed Stabler passed this week. It was a privilege to have known him. He was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on trains and the Narrow Gauge in particular, along with being a superb writer and musician. As a man a straight shooter in all manner. We have lost a dear friend.

Still pics of Ed from the Narrow Gauge Rendezvous 8/16 Prophetic now of my final words with him on Terrace Ave in Chama as he headed home 8/29/16. Also a couple of him chasing the 216 up the pass earlier in the week. Dinner with the Goose 5 crew from Lorne Noyes camera included.
