Sharon's uncommonly good Chama adventure 215 at Chama and wy
Posted: Tue Aug 09, 2016 12:30 pmIn the afternoon of 7/30/16 I did shoot some shots of 215 entering Chama and turning on the wye before I rode the Sunset train that evening. If you have never ridden the Sunset train do so it is a great ride and wonderful meal at the pass.
Here we see 487 coming back to Chama with 215 as it enters the yard.
487 is almost on top of my locations. I think that is Harry at the throttle.
The train comes over NM 17 as it starts its wye maneuver.
The train is now backing down the other leg of the wye into the tail track.
The train is now pulling forward as it completes its turn.
Passing the cattle pens.
