Larry Gibson Narrow Gauge Memories 2015 - Day 5

Unread postby Larry Sullivan » Sun Oct 04, 2015 9:11 am

Have received some pics from this morning. These will be the last from this trip - perhaps some will come this evening from Antonito of the MOW demo, plan is to stop there on the way out before putting many miles behind them.

All this effort on Larry G's part has been a great narrative of the goings on at the C&TS. Well done good sir and safe road ahead.

More - last few. Bittersweet morning today, it's always great to get home, but the C&TS is a very special place for the Gibson family.

"You can take Larry out of Chama, but you can't take Chama out of Larry" Quote from Larry Gibson the other day.

If I get anything else this evening it will be posted, but otherwise they will likely be out of range for the day. Hope everyone has enjoyed these last few days, thanks for watching!

A few final postings from today - there is more and you will often see it in the various videos that will be created during the long winter months. But for now......

Larry, thanks again for the fantastic photo coverage. Safe travels home, my friend.

Farol, I don't know if those jackets are for sale any longer. A vendor in Chama sold them a few years back but I believe he closed his shop.

The Friends had a similar 463 jacket last year, but I don't see it on the website now. You might call the office and see if any remain in stock if you want one. They're really nice.
