Once again we will be treated to some good boots on the ground coverage today. This will be a much more leisurely day overall. Here's some early morning locomotive pics - Larry is wandering the yard, while the "kids" get up and ready.
The switchstand pics are for a friend

No trains in these four shots, just random shots coming back after breakfast, from South of the railroad.

He's in the yard now, few pics coming shortly. He'll be in the yard for 216 departure and perhaps chase a bit -- but today will be more of a downtime day. The "kids" are tired.

He's around the shop now, wearing a blue jacket again not sure where he'll watch 216 go out from. Ok - on the South cam but below the tipple track hill there. After departure heading to first crossing, not sure where from there.

That's it for now folks. Perhaps more later, but I think Larry and the boys are going to take a bit of relaxation time this afternoon and hit the shops in town.
Check back later in case more comes through, I'll post it.

I'm told that's all for now - dinner time! I'll get the small videos in here in a bit, I need to work the webcam review for the day.
Once again a sincere thank you to Larry Gibson for being so generous in sharing these days with all of us.

You are welcome Larry! It's the old teacher in me at work... Getting information for my "students." Hope everyone who has never been on the ground here comes. All employees are friendly and welcoming. Tomorrow the boys and I ride the Goose to Osier and back. Goose leaves at 8:30 and will try to push some pics out along the way as on 216 yesterday. Consider supporting the Galloping Goose of Delores Historical Society too... More great folks!
Good evening from Chama!

You have been a great teacher to me for well over a year, your narrow gauge and especially C&TSRR knowledge is immense. I thank you for the teachings - and I have lots more to learn!
As to tomorrow -- unfortunately I have to work in the morning, so I won't get things posted quite as fast as the last few days. We have a plan for that and once I'm back here, shortly before 216 time, I will upload everything that has been sent my way. Enjoy your trip on Goose #5!!!!!!

Adding a couple weather photos in here. Larry's son Keith is a meteorologist with a local tv weather channel back home, so they are doing a bit of storm chasing this evening. A couple of nice shots I think.
