Also - a note that a 30 car freight will head for Chama at 7pm - trying to clarify if that is correct or a typo!

As noted on the webcams this morning, the backhoe was digging by the switch to the coal dock. The job is to renew the switch stand timbers.

At lunch now with my boys. Earlier today in Antonito. Plan to watch 215 come in and then go up for 30 car freight scheduled at Los Pinos area at 6:00. MOW train will be assembled after 215 returns.
I'm the luckiest man in the world to pull this trip off with children who grew up on the RR with trips over the years:grin:
We get to return one more time!!

34 car freight - this is an all time record we're told, per Mr. Roger Hogan.
I have to truly thank Larry Gibson for the privilege of sharing this adventurous day with him. This has been an amazing day.

No words adequately to describe today. Just very special. Will try to get more out while enjoying "our" railroad.
